Biography:

Tokyo print publisher (Marks 552). This house only published two artists as far as we know. One was Yoshitoshi and the other Kunichika as can be seen in the example in the Lyon Collection #1350.

There is a print in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on which both Kunichika and Yoshitoshi collaborated.

Carvers who worked for this house include Hori Yasu, Hori Chō, Hori Uta and Horikō Ushinosuke.
