Kabuki21 wrote: "Dates of birth and death unknown. He started his career in Kamigata and his first stage name was Nakamura Sentarō. He became disciple of Nakayama Bunshichi III, performing under the name of Nakayama Sentarō in hama shibai or miyaji shibai. His next stage name was Nakayama Jinkichi II. He finally took the name of Nakayama Bunshichi IV after the death of his master Nakayama Hyakka, in the 8th lunar month of 1850 at the Kado no Shibai. We don't know what happens to him after 1877 for he disappeared from the records. He was expert in wagoto and jitsugoto but spent most of his career in koshibai. He was the (adoptive?) father of Nakayama Bungorō III."
