"Life was not easy for Ume Yoshibei. Since his youth, his vehement character had landed him in many difficult situations. His temper could only be controlled by wearing a purple hood with a 'clasp that forbids all quarrels.' He was not a bad character at heart and even cared for a young couple from his clan."
