A Record of the Benevolent Government at Ōgawa (Ōkawa jinsei-roku). Third part, volumes 1-3. Yomihon illustrated in Osaka style. All three volumes have decorative covers with plum blossom patterns. Volume 1 has the title page, four double page and two single page black and light blue color prints to introduce characters and places. Volume 2 has three double page illustrations. Volume 3 has three double page illustrations.
The publisher was Maekawa Zenbei (前川善兵衛). The author was Shōtei Kinsui (松亭金水: 1795-1862). Other artists involved the original publication were Hasegawa Sadanobu and Utagawa Yoshitoyo.
Very nicely illustrated action story about treacheries involving House of Chiba and Izu-ya in Ōkawa.
