Japan Arts Council - the full triptych
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston - 2 panels of a triptych showing actors at the Baikō villa in Terashima in the winter The freshness and color of this print is quite remarkable. Hanshirō is accompanied by Onoe Kikugorō III (尾上菊五郎) in the center panel and Matsumoto Koshirō V on the far right.

While there is no way of determining the exact location of this setting it is most likely that it is near the Baikō villa at Matsuinkyo (松隠居), the pine retreat, at Terashima (寺嶋). We have come to this conclusion because the fellow in the missing center panel, Kikugorō III, is himself carrying an umbrella on the underside of which is written 寺嶋.
